Forge & Repair at Blacksmith in FE3H
In FE3H, Blacksmith does a very important role in managing the equipment. You can upgrade your weapons to a more powerful version through Blacksmith. Also, you can repair weapons when its durability is low. In addition, it can repair ‘Rusted Weapons’ that you find.
Using these services is not free of course. Golds and some materials are needed in order to forge or repair weapons. In most cases, ‘Smithing Stones’ are needed, and it is pretty easy to get. You can purchase them from Merchant or Travelers, or earn in quest rewards. You can also find them even on the ground. However, Some materials may hard to get. Fore instance, ‘Sword of the Creator’, need Umbral Steel to repair, and it is pretty much hard to acquire.

How to unlock Blacksmith in Fire Emblem Three Houses : FE3H

The blacksmith is located on the Southernmost part of the Monastery. You can find it pretty easily, while exploring the Monastery on your free times. In order to unlock the Blacksmith in Fire Emblem Three Houses, you must complete the Quest “Forge the Way”.
It will require that you find the ‘iron welding material’ and bring it back to the Blacksmith to unlock their services. You don’t have to worry because it is really easy to find. The iron welding material is right at the top of the stairs at the marketplace, not very far from the Blacksmith. Also, very kindly, the material is glowing in blue. So, all you have to do is just simply grab it and head right back to the Blacksmith to unlock services and get some rewards.
