Our ‘Brawl Stars Siege Mode Tips & Guide’ will walk you through all the information about the Siege event, including rules, tips & strategy, best brawlers, and maps.

What is Brawl Stars Siege Mode(Event)?

“Siege and destroy the enemy’s IKE assembly turret! Your team also has an IKE: feed it bolts, and it will assemble a powerful Siege Robot to fight for you.”

Brawl Stars Siege Mode(Event) is one of the game modes in Brawl Stars, added in the February 2019 update. This mode is 3 : 3 team match. Each team has an IKE turret with 30,000 HP that they must defend while attempting to destroy the enemy team’s IKE turret. Bolts spawn near the middle of the map. Holding a bolt for a few seconds will transfer the bolt to your IKE turret. At specific intervals during the round, the team with more Bolts will build a siege robot that will attack the enemy IKE turret. The more bolts you feed your IKE turret, the better the robot produced.

This mode is similar to Heist mode in that you must destroy targets on the opposing side. In Heist mode, the team that destroys the opponent’s safe first wins. If the safe is not destroyed, the team who deals more damage wins. Similarly, in Siege Mode(Event), the team that destroys the opponent’s IKE turret first or deals more damage will win.

Basic Rules

To win the Brawl Stars Siege Mode(Event), you must first destroy your opponent’s IKE turret in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If the IKE turret is not destroyed, the team that reduces the opponent’s IKE turret’s HP more until the end of the time limit wins. As same as Heist mode, if both IKE turrets have the exact same amount of health percentage after the timer runs out, or when both IKE turrets are taken out at the exact same time, then it is a draw.

Each IKE turret has a 30,000 HP. This turret has its own attack ability, unlike the safe in Heist mode. When an enemy approaches the turret’s attack range, it automatically attacks from the nearest enemy. The IKE turret is much more powerful than you think. The turret’s attack range is 10.67 tiles, and it will do rapid attack that deals 1,000 damage to enemies. Therefore, it is very difficult to attack the turret without any help.

One way to safely attack the IKE turret is to assemble the Siege Robot. Siege Robots are produced in friendly side turret when certain conditions are met. The robot basically goes straight towards the opposing turret. However, if there are enemies in front of the robot, it will do melee attack to them. Siege Robot has a much higher HP than regular brawlers. Also, the robot’s damage is very powerful. Thus, the robot plays a key role in attacking the opposing turret.

The conditions for assembling the Siege Robot are as follows.

  • Siege Robot is produced after a certain time.
    • At this time, Siege Robot is produced by the team that has more bolts than the opposing team. Siege Robot is not produced on teams with fewer Bolts.
    • If both teams have the same number of bolts, it will be considered a draw and no robot will be produced.
  • The team that produced the Siege Robot will spend all the bolts that they collected. In other words, the number of bolts is initialized and must be collected again from zero.
  • For each bolt used in robot production, the level of Siege Robot is increased by 1.
    • Siege Robot’s basic attack power is 500, and its damage is increased by 50 per level. (Ex: Level 10 robot has 1,000 damage(500 + 10 x 50).)
    • The movement speed of the Siege Robot increases as the level increases.
    • Siege Robot has 45,000 health, and its HP will not increase even if the level goes higher.

Bolts are spawned in every certain time near the center of the map. The location where the bolts are spawned is random, and a few seconds before they are spawned, they are displayed in circle. The bolts spawned in this way can be obtained when the brawler approaches. If the brawler that had the bolts dies, the brawler drops the bolts in place. This is similar to Gem Grab mode. However, unlike Gem Grab mode, these bolts are automatically delivered to the IKE turret, a few seconds after the brawler has obtained it. In other words, if a brawler survives for a short time after acquiring Bolts, he will not drop Bolts after death.

Tips & Strategy

To win Siege Mode(Event), you must destroy opponent’s IKE turret or deal as much damage as possible. Also, the most efficient way to attack this turret is to gather the bolts to produce a Siege Robot. In conclusion, in this mode, the highest priority is to gather more bolts than the opposing team to produce Siege Robot.

Bolts are always spawned near the center of the map. Because of this, there will be a bloody battle in the center of the map to earn this Bolt. In other words, the team who dominates the center of the map can take a very advantageous position. If your team dominate the center of the map, your team can easily defend opponent team from entering the center of the map. This will allow your team to automatically acquire a lot of bolts, and produce the Siege Robot faster than your opponent team. In short, in this mode, the battle in the center of the map determines the winner of the game.

If both teams have similar strengths, there may be a situation where no team is in control of the center of the map. This will make both teams to continue bloody battle. In this situation, the role of the tanker type brawler becomes important. Most of the Tanker type brawlers have a quick movement speed and a lot of health. These brawlers can carry the bolts more safely than other brawlers. Therefore, in Siege Mode(Event), Tanker type brawlers who have high survivability such as El Primo and Rosa are preferred. Also, brawlers such as Colt and Spike are well used too.

After the Siege Robot is produced, the attack position and defense position are divided according to which team the robot was produced. The attacking team’s goal is to deal as much damage as possible to the opposing turret, while the defending team’s goal is to eliminate the opposing Siege Robot to defend the turret.

It is true that Siege Robot plays a very important role in the game. However, the absence of Siege Robot does not mean that there is no way to attack the opposing turret. You can use El Primo to rush into opponent’s turret, or use Penny or Rico to attack opponent’s turret from outside turret’s attack range. In addition to this, the attack method will depend on which brawler the players choose and which strategy they use.

Note that brawlers with low DPS are not preferred in this mode.
