Tips & Strategy
The biggest feature of Lone Star Mode(Event) is that it doesn’t matter that you survive. In other words, it doesn’t matter that you die to opponent brawler.
For example, let’s suppose a brawler who ranks first is killed by an opponent brawler with a bounty of seven stars. If the player who killed the rank 1 player is rank 10 and there is a difference of more than 20 stars between the rank 1 and the rank 10, there’s no harm is the rank 1 player being killed. Because if the rank 10 player kills the rank 1 player and there is a big gap in score, it does not affect the rank.
This is also true in the opposite case. For example, let’s suppose the rank 1 brawler killed a rank 10 brawler. In this case, there’s no harm for the rank 10 player being killed by rank 1 player. Because the rank 1 player already has a high rank, it doesn’t get worse even if that player kills rank 10 player once more.
Moreover, Lone Star Mode(Event) does not show the number of stars that opponent brawlers holding. Therefore, it is almost impossible to play the game while calculating the number of stars that opponents have. Even if you can see the number of stars that opponent brawlers holding and rankings of other players, you will have no time to care about them, because there are many players that you have to fight.
Therefore, in Lone Star Mode(Event), it is much more important to kill as many opponent brawlers as possible rather than play passively. Even if you have a lot of stars to give to your opponent when you die, it is much better to die, after kill one more opponent and raise your rank. Of course, it does not mean that dead by an opponent brawler doesn’t affect your victory at all.
Assassin type brawlers and sniper type brawlers are preferred in this mode because you have to knock down your opponents at the last hit to get the stars. Therefore, characters like Leon, Darryl, Mortis are preferred, and characters like Piper and Bea are also useful. The brawler who has high basic damage and long effective range, such as Colt and Brock, are also advantageous in this mode. Melee type brawlers are also useful in this mode.
