What is Archero Hero Upgrades?
The Archero Hero Upgrades, also called Hero Growth system, is new level up system which was added on Halloween update October 2019. From now on, you can upgrade your favorite hero to make them become more powerful character. You can level up them by spending some sapphires and coins. Since there are no play or XP requirements, you can upgrade them with those 2 currencies even on heroes you don’t play.
Newly unlocked attributes will increase the stats of their respective hero, and some will increase the stats of all heroes. This bonus will give you a reason to level up many or even all heroes, because leveling up many heroes as possible will significantly increase the stats of your main preferred hero.
To sum up, if you level up and upgrade your heroes, you will have the following advantages.
- Bonus Attack point for each level.

How to farm Sapphire
Sapphire is newly added material on Halloween update, and is essential item for Archero hero upgrades. First of all, Sapphires drop on levels after Chapter 3, and it seems higher chapters drop more sapphires just as they drop more scrolls and coins. From chapter 3, sapphires always drop from bosses and has a small chance to drop from monsters. Below is some tips and stretagy to farm Sapphire.
1. Check the Event
As you’ve seen at Halloween events, event is a great way to get Sapphire. Currently, Archero is constantly being updated, and new items and new heroes are keep adding. As these new things added, various events are expected to occur accordingly. Always check the Event tabs. (For example, max out the Daily Challenges system added in October 2019.)
2. Best Chapter to farm Sapphire is 3, 6, and 7.
As mentioned earlier, you can not get Sapphire in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Also, you can get them more from bosses than monsters as they always drop from bosses.
With this in mind, as of now, the best chapter to get Sapphire is Chapter 3, Chapter 6, and Chapter 7. Of course, chapters 3 and 7 are known for their high level of difficulty, so some players may not fit this strategy. But one thing is for sure, you have to deal with bosses rather than monsters to get a lot of Sapphires. Therefore, clear the chapters which has a lot of bosses.
3. You can buy them from shop.
If all these things are bothersome and have some money to spend, you can just purchase them from the Mysterious vendor.
