Archero Chapter 7 Stage Guide : Barrens of Shadow
“The habitat of powerful creatures that no one dares approach.”
Archero Chapter 7 is called ‘Barrens of Shadow’. This is the seventh chapter in Archero and it consists of 10 stages. Also, this chapter is famous for its extreme difficulty.
Stage Strategy
1.Deal with the Devil
Unlike other chapters, this chapter is fully focuses on all the boss battles you’ve faced so far. So, there is no treasure chest and angels. This will make really difficult to manage your health. Also, you will have hard time leveling up. In most cases, you may only reach levels 5~7. Fortunately, every stage will have a Lucky Spin after clearing the monsters and boss, but it will not enough. Therefore, deal with the Devil is the most important strategy in chapter 7.
The Devil will appear if you have taken no damage from the stage. Also, sometimes it comes up even if you do take damage. Because of the lack of chance to acquire exp, health recovery, and abilities, you have to deal with the devil as many times as possible.
2.It is time to need Epic equipment
To clear this chapter more smoothly, we recommend you to bring at least one epic weapon. If you are skilled enough and well practiced, it is possible to clear all stages. However, it will cause a lot of stress and bad effect to your mental. Seriously.
The recommended weapons are Tornado and Death Scythe. Firstly, the Tornado is boomerang-like weapon with fast speed. It damages everything in it’s path and has piercing effect and return damage. This is why this weapon is recommended. Because of the lack of chance to acquire abilities, this additional abilities will help you a lot. Also, if it is epic, it deals increased damage on return. Secondly, the Death Scythe is slow moving weapon that deals a lot of damage. It is useful when deal with the melee type monsters because it has knock back ability. Since every boss come up with some monsters together, this additional ability will help you to clear surrounding monsters quickly.

Archero Chapter 7 All Monsters Tips & Guide
Firstly, In Archero Chapter 7, there are various types of monsters. The important thing is that there is no fixed name for the monsters. Each monster and boss does not appear with a name tag. So, we have described them in terms of what is commonly called.
In Chapter 7, the monsters from previous chapters will reappear. Therefore, some monster’s description may be the same as previous chapters. The difference from previous is the Monsters fight along side the bosses this time.

Melee Enemies(Monsters)
- Red-Winged Bat : Same as Chapter 1. An upgraded version of Green-Winged Bat. Red-Winged Bat is faster than Green-Winged Bat.
- White Skull : Same as Chapter 1. These monsters move slowly and follow you. However, because they are slow, if you keep your distance, you can deal with them easily.
- Yellow Skull : Same as Chapter 1. Upgraded version of White Skulls. These skeletons will release two White Skulls when they die. Also, They are slow just like White Skulls. So, if you keep your distance, you can deal with them easily.
- Red Slime : Same as Chapter 1. Upgraded version of Green Slime. Red Slime is slightly faster than Green Slime. They also release 2 Green slimes when they die.
- Spear Skeleton : Same as Chapter 5. These skeletons will chase at you and attack you with their spear. So, you need to keep your distance and defeat them quickly.
- Sword Skeleton : Same as Chapter 5. These monsters will chase at you and attack you with their sword. The difference with the spear one is they have a wide slash radius attack. As same as Spear Skeleton, you need to keep your distance and defeat them quickly.
- Mummies : Same as Chapter 4. Pretty easy type melee monsters. They jump all around the map. It may slightly hard to attack them because they jump randomly.
- Blue Wolf : Same as Chapter 4. They do melee attacks. They rush to you and tend to stalk you.
- Brown Wolf : Same as Chapter 5. These monsters will move slightly more aggressively, and also rush around the map. So, keep stay away from their path.
- Green Snake : Same as Chapter 2. These are green snake-like monsters. The attack pattern of these monsters is lunge at you.
- Blue Spider : Same as Chapter 2. These monsters go around the map quickly. Because their movements are random, you will not be able to predict. Keep distance from them.
Ranged Enemies(Monsters)
- One-Eyed Laser Bat : Same as Chapter 5. These monsters fire a laser beam at you. Also, their lasers pass through walls. Fortunately, these bats don’t chase you and the laser path will mark on the ground. Because of this, They are pretty easy type monster. So, just make sure to keep avoid their laser beam.
- Red Spider : Same as Chapter 6. Basically, Red Spiders are same as Blue Spiders in Chapter 2 and 3. However, they shoot 4 projectiles diagonally.
- Tornado Mage : Same as Chapter 2. These monsters release you a zigzag moving tornado. So, you should avoid predicting the movement of the tornado. However, this tornado does not pass through the wall. Therefore, if there is a wall, it is recommended to hide behind the wall.
- Archer : Same as Chapter 1. The Archer attack you by shooting arrows. They are relatively easy to deal with.
- Sand Worm : Same as Chapter 2. These monsters can burrow under the ground. Also, if they come out of the ground, shoot 3 lobbed projectiles at you. This monster can be difficult to deal with because it can hide underground. The best way to deal with these monsters is stop for a second, let them aim at you, and avoid.
- Purple Electric Spirit : Same as Chapter 5. This slowly floating monsters release a purple lightning projectile at you. This projectile consists of 2 small purple orbs and electricity which connects those two. Also, this weird looking projectile moves slowly. So, just avoid it quickly.
- Purple Crocodile : Same as Chapter 2. It attacks you with breath of fire.
- Electric Turret : Same as Chapter 2. It is a turret that does not move. This turret places little lightning circles all-around the map and eventually drops a bolt of lightning on them. However, their attacks are relatively easy to avoid, so do not worry too much.
- White Living Bomb : Same as Chapter 1.The White Living Bomb throw bombs at you. They can throw bombs quite far. Because of this, you have to be far enough away to avoid their bombs.
- Red Living Bomb : Same as Chapter 2. The Red Living Bombs are basically similar to the White living bomb. However, the attack type of Red living bomb has been upgraded. They lob blazed bombs. This upgraded attack can be quite dangerous to you. Because, the bombs leave a small fire hazard where they drop.
- Purple Plant with Blue Vines : Same as Chapter 1. These monsters shoot 1 lobbed projectile to you.
- Purple Plant with Green Vines : Same as Chapter 1. They are upgraded version of Purple Plant with Blue Vines. They shoot 2 lobbed projectile to you.
- Green Tree Stump : Same as Chapter 1. These monsters shoot projectiles in 4 directions after bouncing.
- Brown Rock Golem : Same as Chapter 5. These monsters spin around and release some small rocks. They shoot rocks randomly so you can not predict it. However, it is pretty easy to avoid so you don’t have to worry too much.
- Scarecrow (Witch) : These monsters jump around in short distances and shoot 4-directional projectiles the curves in trajectory. The best way to deal with them is just stay away as far as you can.
- Red Fireball Turret : Same as Chapter 5. This glowing orb shoots 8-directional fireballs. Its attack speed is pretty slow and it doesn’t move.

There are 13 Bosses in Archero Chapter 7, and each Boss will appear on every stage one by one except for stage 10. The 10th stage instead has 2 bosses.

Giant Brown Sand Worm Boss
To defeat this boss easily, you should stand right on top of it. Since it has no collision damage, you will not take any damage when touching it.

- Shoots 3 fast red projectiles in a wide spread.
- Shoots 4 slow red projectiles in a small spread.
- Fires large number of random red projectiles in a wide spread.
- Shoots 1 large fire ball that leaves a flame effect.

Giant Red Skull Boss
This is pretty easy type boss. This boss starts as one big red skull, and it splits into smaller skulls as health decreases. Keep your distance from it, and don’t stand in one place for too long.

Giant Red Plant Boss
This Giant Red Plant Boss always placed in the center of the map, and does not move. Stand in the corner and concentrate on avoiding projectiles.

- Fires multiple red projectiles in 5 straight lines.
- Shoots multiple red projectiles randomly.

Giant Bat Boss
Keep your distance from it, and use walls to avoid projectiles.

Round Fire Dragon Boss

- Shoots one single line of 5 fire balls.
- Fires 3 fire balls in a fan shaped formation

- All fire balls are bounce off the wall.

Giant Red Spider Boss
This Giant Red Spider Boss moves around the map randomly, and will sometimes follow you. It will splits into 2 smaller Red Spider as health decreases. Also, this smaller Red Spider splits into 3 smallest version which shoots 4 red projectiles. Keep your distance from it.

- Shoots an 8 directional red projectiles

Giant Blue Tree Stump Boss
< Attack patterns >
- When it’s not jumping, it fires random blue projectiles.
- Shoots blue projectiles in 8 directions after bouncing.
- Summons a Green Tree Stump

- Mummies x4

Giant Scarecrow (Witch) Boss
Known as hardest boss in Archero chapter 7. You have to stay as far as you can from the pumpkins. Also, do not focus on the Scarecrow Boss rather focus on pumpkins and projectiles.
< Attack patterns >
- Shoots 8 curved diagonal projectiles.
- Summons 2 moving or stationary pumpkins that shoot 4 curved projectiles.

Round Electric Dragon Boss
This boss moves pretty slowly. So, just keep concentrate on avoiding those projectiles.

- Fires blue/white electric balls.
- Each electric ball will be divided into 4 smaller ones.

Giant Blue Wolf Boss
This giant blue wolf boss only do melee attack. Therefore, just keep avoid those jump and dash attacks.

- Suddenly jumps and lands on you.
- Dashes after you 3 times. It always dashes 3 times. So, when it starts dash, it is 3 times.

Giant Blue Rock Golem Boss

Do not stay still in one place for too long.

- Bounces and when it lands, it fires out 4 wind projectiles diagonally.
- Shoots 3 fast wind projectiles, which show red path that display where the attack is going.
- Fires 5~8 fast wind projectiles at you.

Archero Chapter 7 Final Boss Tips & Guide
Giant Red Worm Boss x2
This is the last boss in Archero chapter 7. You will have a very hard time defeating this boss. You must avoid their ranged attacks as well as melee attacks. The best way to deal with them is move close to the wall and stay away from them as far as possible. However, do not stick completely to the wall. Because their large red projectile splits when it hits the wall.
< Attack patterns >
- Burrows underground, and when it pops up, shoots an 6-directional red projectile.
- Shoots 1 large red projectile towards you. When it hits the ground or wall, it splits into an 8-directional small red projectile.
